The impact of childhood cancer on children and their families is incredible. It affects not only the child but also their brothers and sisters, parents, grand parents, friends, the whole community. All donations are welcome.

The Childhood Cancer Association was formed in 1982 by a group of parents with children with cancer.

Responding to the need they had identified, this commited group established the grounds for what is today South Australia's key association dedicated to provding emotional, practical and financial support to families in need.

Originally run by a group of volunteer parents, By 1992, the demands on our services outweighed the capacity of our volunteers.

With the support of our many donors and corporate sponsors, the decision was made to embrace a new era of professional operations.

The Association now employs 5 full time and 2 part time staff.  The Board has delegated the day to day management of the Association to the General Manager - Cath O'Loughlin.
