The impact of childhood cancer on children and their families is incredible. It affects not only the child but also their brothers and sisters, parents, grand parents, friends, the whole community. All donations are welcome.

The Childhood Cancer Association was formed in 1982 by a group of parents with children with cancer.

Responding to the needs they had identified, this committed group established the grounds for what is today South Australia's key childhood cancer support organsiation dedicated to providing emotional, practical and financial support to families in need.

Originally run by a group of volunteer parents, by 1992, the demands on our services outweighed the capacity of our volunteers.

The Association now employs 4 full time and 4 part time staff.  The Board has delegated the day to day management of the Association to the General Manager - Cath O'Loughlin.
