Following the outstanding success of the inaugural ‘Sturt 4 Childhood Cancer’ team in the 2010 Santos Tour Down Under, the Childhood Cancer Association and Sturt Football Club, will again be entering a team in the 2011 event.  More than 100 riders participated under the ‘Sturt 4 Childhood Cancer’ team name in this year’s event and raised more than $76,000 for the Childhood Cancer Association. 

 

We are aiming for 150 riders for the 2011 event, and to raise $100,000 for South Australian children living with cancer, and their families. 

 

Participants will again be encouraged to fundraise $500 each as part of their involvement, and there’ll be incentives along the way to help you achieve this, including a major prize for the highest fundraiser.

 

You don’t have to be a cyclist to participate in this event, and you can choose the distance that suits you.
