About

Supporting families since 1982

The Childhood Cancer Association is one of Australia's key childhood cancer support organisations.

We’re here to help families from South Australia and the Northern Territory — and we also support country Victoria and New South Wales families if their child receives treatment in Adelaide.

Ever since 1982, it’s been our mission to provide practical, hands-on support for children with cancer, and their families.

We were formed by a group of parents of children with cancer who responded to the needs they had identified themselves. This group, with the help of Paediatric Oncologist Dr Michael Rice, began to build the services that now form the basis of what we do.

Our support is tailored to meet the needs of each individual family.

We rely solely on the generous support of the people like you and businesses like yours to help us continue to provide vital services and support to families in need.
